Meet Nick - one of our fab fundraisers, who at 16 years old is the youngest person to walk solo - well apart from a bit of company from his dog, Jaz - from John O'Groats to Lands End. He's managed to raise over £3000 for Macmillan on the way. See how he did it.

Emily's volunteering story

Anna, aged 12

We find out how Anna, 12 deals with her cancer treatment. Going to school and seeing her friends are still a big part of her life, and we find out how she balances her favourite lessons with visits from her Macmillan nurse for treatment.

Who are Macmillan Cancer Support?

Did you know Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the largest cancer care charities in the UK? There are over two million people living with or after a cancer diagnosis in the UK, and we help by providing information and support for those people, through publications, information centres, help lines and our Macmillan nurses.

A day in the life of a Macmillan nurse

Claire is one of 2,500 Macmillan nurses in the UK, and she looks after children and teenagers with cancer and their families. Watch a day in her life, and discover what a Macmillan nurse does in hospitals, at schools and in patients' homes.

How can your school help with fundraising?

Macmillan relies almost entirely on our supporters to raise funds for cancer care. There are so many ways you and your classmates can get involved, by holding events, collecting sponsorship money or taking part in a national Macmillan campaign.
