  • Inform and support: we help people find accurate information about cancer, and support them through our phoneline, information and support centres and nurses.
  • Support the support groups: we help people affected by cancer to form their own support groups. Find a cancer support group in your area.
  • Educate the educators: we develop programmes for schools and youth groups in order to raise awareness about cancer in school communities. For more information see the Cancertalk website.
  • Give money advice: we help people understand what kind of benefits they might be entitled to. We can also provide grants for practical help, such as travel costs or fuel bills.
  • Create treatment centres: we build centres to ensure better healing environments for people receiving treatment for cancer.
  • Listen and act: we make sure we involve the actual people affected by cancer when developing new services for them.
  • Campaign: we raise public awareness of issues affecting people living with cancer.
