National Macmillan events:
Photo competition
Carers Week is organising a photography competition for young carers aged 18 and under.
The judges include Richard McCourt, best known as Dick of Dick and Dom fame, and he says 'I know from my own experience of caring for a family member just how tough it can be. When you’re a young carer it’s really important to cut loose and have fun, just like your mates, but so much harder to do. That’s why I’m calling for as many young carers to get involved with Zoom and get trigger happy with a camera!'
Every winner will receive a fabulous Sony digital camera and accessories as well as a cash prize. An all-expenses paid trip to Parliament is also included in the package that the overall winner will receive.
